Tetra Pak, a global leader in food processing and packaging solutions renowned for innovation, sought to demonstrate the reduced climate footprint of their packaging products to both potential and existing customers. By leveraging Terrascope's Product Carbon Footprinting (PCF) capabilities, Tetra Pak gained detailed insights into the climate footprint of 16 SKUs within a month, enabling them to benchmark their products against standard industry packaging and stand out.



The Giving Movement: Leading decarbonisation and supply chain transformation in the fashion industry

Seeking a deeper understanding of their emissions hotspots throughout their value chain, Dubai-based sustainable fashion brand, The Giving Movement, turned to Terrascope. Within weeks, Terrascope processed 1,200 business activity data line items and conducted reduction simulations. This enabled The Giving Movement to swiftly identify impactful reduction opportunities, including the potential to reduce overall emissions by over 18%.



MUI Group: Exploring opex savings through emission reductions

MUI Group partnered with Terrascope for its first venture into emissions measurement. Within just four weeks, MUI Group gained a comprehensive understanding of emissions hotspots, drivers, and reduction opportunities across its core businesses. Notably, they identified an opportunity to reduce overall emissions in their food business by 5-10%, with a potential 56% reduction in refrigerant operating costs. Terrascope is also supporting MUI Group's sustainability reporting to Bursa Malaysia.

To prepare for sustainability-conscious customers and increasingly stringent regulations in the EU, Princes aimed to estimate the carbon footprint of key products. Terrascope’s machine learning algorithm helped Princes efficiently and accurately estimate product carbon footprints by breaking them down into constituent units. The platform delivered valuable insights into emission hotspots – identifying the top 30 activities responsible for 99% of emissions. With Terrascope's 5x faster ingestion process, Princes made timely data-driven decisions, propelling their decarbonisation journey forward.

Using Product Carbon Footprint to Improve Pokka’s Procurement Decisions

Terrascope helped Pokka build operational resilience by enabling them to explore and evaluate more sustainable procurement options. The platform provided a comprehensive understanding of Pokka’s emissions across the entire supply chain, including accurately measuring the carbon footprint of imported products for distribution. Despite the absence of actual supplier data, Terrascope calculated emissions with 92% accuracy. Its algorithm also delivered 5x faster measurements than manual processes, estimating emissions for 5000 SKUs in under 100 minutes.

Visualising Scope 3 Emissions to Guide Future Reduction Targets for Mitsubishi Shokuhin

Recognising the importance of visualising Scope 3 emissions at an early stage for the development of a sustainable supply chain, Mitsubishi Shokuhin onboarded Terrascope to measure its Scope 3 emissions. The platform was able to collect and sort the company’s vast amount of data with AI, classifying over 240,000 SKUs (stock keeping units) into around 2000 similar product categories. Through Terrascope's functionality, Mitsubishi Shokuhin was able to visualise its Scope 3 emissions on a corporate and product category level, which will guide future reduction targets and build operational efficiency.


PropertyGuru Leverages Terrascope for Emission Measurement and Reduction

PropertyGuru Group is Southeast Asia’s leading PropTech company, and the preferred destination for over 28 million property seekers every month to find their dream home. PropertyGuru onboarded Terrascope to get a granular understanding of their carbon emissions, identifying the top 5 activities that contribute to 93% of their overall emissions and identifying hotspots in their value chain for effective decarbonisation initiatives. The Terrascope platform was able to help PropertyGuru easily view its emissions by assimilating data into manageable segments. Terrascope also enabled simulations for PropertyGuru to evaluate the impact of any changes.



Providing Scalable Emission Measurement Solutions for Mitsubishi Corporation Agri Alliance

The Terrascope platform enabled Mitsubishi Corporation Agri Alliance to pinpoint emission hotspots and build a comprehensive baseline for Scope 3 emissions. This helped MC Agri Alliance future-proof their supply chain by identifying and reevaluating parts of the supply chain that needed optimisation with respect to emissions. One of the suggested procurement and processing options offered a potential 25% reduction of Scope 3 emissions, along with a potential reduction in supply chain costs.
