Terrascope and Ricardo PLC Join Forces to Accelerate Corporate Decarbonisation

Terrascope and Ricardo unite tech and advisory expertise to help companies build climate plans aligned with IFRS S2 climate-related disclosure standards.

In a significant move towards advancing its mission towards being the easiest platform with which to decarbonise the Land, Nature, and Net Zero Economy, Terrascope is partnering with Ricardo PLC, a global leader in sustainability advisory services. This will make it easier for customers to initiate corporate decarbonization initiatives in alignment with international standards and frameworks, like the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) standards, and the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) framework. 


Combining Expertise for Comprehensive Climate Solutions

The partnership brings together Terrascope's cutting-edge carbon management technology and Ricardo's extensive sustainability advisory expertise. This combination will enable their customers to develop and execute climate transition plans with confidence, adhering to the International Financial Reporting Standards Sustainability Disclosure Standard 2 (IFRS S2), which focuses on climate-related disclosures.

Ricardo and Terrascope will offer an integrated approach to address the four core elements of IFRS S2:

  • Governance: Ensuring proper oversight and management of climate-related issues within the organization.
  • Strategy: Developing robust climate strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and managing climate-related risks.
  • Metrics and Targets: Establishing and tracking relevant climate-related metrics and targets.
